Simon Leigh is a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor specializing in the treatment of Addictive Disorders. He qualified with a Masters Degree in Addiction Counselling and is both accredited by, and an examiner for, the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP). He also holds a CENAPS Certificate in Relapse Prevention Counselling.

Prior to setting up private practices in Central and North West London, he was the Treatment Director and Director of Outpatient Services for a leading UK residential and Day-Care treatment centre in South Kensington. Since then, he has acted as a Consultant to another well known residential facility in the set up and opening of their Secondary Unit as well as running their Aftercare Programme.

Simon's expertise in this field has led to interviews with The BBC (both television and radio), ITN, Capital Radio, The Observer and The Reader's Digest. He has also had articles published in newspapers and on medical internet sites.
